FARMING RELATED INJURIES

90 minute compilation of Michigan industrial. This came out of the Slaughterhouse camp,
a clique of people following the lead of Butthole Surfers, TG, and German Shepherds.
A few clunkers in there, as you may expect over 90 minutes. Abiku Red & Arc Of Bon had a split LP, and Akibu went on to be Strange Fruit (post of their ep coming up).
Trevor Malcolm played bass in the Butthole Surfers.
I grouped the tracks by artist on each side, so whenever a group has 2 tracks they are grouped together. The tape at least tried to flow together without gaps anyway.

  1. i did the artwork, packaging, and mastering for this comp. most images came from a textbook called "the medicolegal investigation of death" provided by petra dickerson r.i.p. the typos in the package were due to bob madigan's poor spelling. when questioned about some spellings, bob insisted they were correct, and to print as provided. the most notable is the phonetic spelling of impanema. i don'recall arc of bone being misspelled, though. the source tapes provided were all cassettes, hence the sound quality (or lack thereof). i still have a few of the source tapes, with trevor malcolm's being the most interesting, as it contained approximately an hour of unreleased material.

    1. Ark Of Bone was totally spelled wrong, I forgot to note that. That is funny about Bob being so bone-headed about it. Bob always seemed so indestructible - I have pictures of him with his hair on fire at a Steel Pole gig. I would like to hear more of (most) of the bands if you want me to share them. I agree Trevor's bits were entertaining.
